Basic Features of the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note II

The Samsung Galaxy Note II was unveiled 29 August 2012 at the IFA trade show in Berlin, with an expected release date of October 2012, and is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note. We may still remember when Samsung Galaxy Note hit the market in 2011, it is thought as Android smartphone and tablet computer hybrid. This time, the title comes to its successor-Samsung Galaxy Note II which is the third device of the Samsung Company’s Note series, which places emphasis on the use of a stylus. The Galaxy Note 2 is Larger and more powerful and is a stunner in many ways, now let us see some basic features of this "phablet".

Screen:
The device sports a 5.5-inch (140 mm) diagonal display with 720p resolution which is larger than Note’s 5.3 inches. Indeed the vast screen is as lovely as ever, with deep blacks and vibrant colors viewable from very wide angles.

Processor:
The quad core Exynos processor has been cranked up to 1.6GHz, and is joined by a distinctly un-shabby 2GB of RAM to power things along, which shows powerful configuration.

OS:
Upon launch, it will be the first Samsung phone to come with Android version 4.1 "Jelly Bean" as standard. The implementation of Android 4.1 Jellybean is certainly a nice touch, although it's different to the vanilla offering on the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus. There's not card-based notification menu on offer here, although when long-pressing the home key to call up the task manager you've got instant access to Google Now, as well as the ability to check running apps.

Camera:
The camera has upgraded to 8 megapixel BSI back-illuminated main camera and 1.9 megapixel front camera same as GALAXY S III level. Supporting 1080P HD video recording, plus flashlight is also equipped.

S Pen:
The phone's S-pen has an improved ergonomic design compared to the original Galaxy Note. The new S Pen can utilize a range of gestures for shortcuts and you can scribble down phone numbers and it will recognize your handwriting making it easy to add to your address book later. Forget speech recognition, scribble recognition is the new black with Google searches performed from your jottings. A feature known as Air View will allow users to use the S-Pen to preview content by hovering over it, For example, when the stylus is 10mm from the screen, we will see the message in the corresponding position. And another called Quick Command which reveals a list of commands at the swipe of the S-Pen.

Storage:
The phone will be available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB storage capacity variants, each expandable via a microSD with a capacity up to 64GB.

Until now, the price is still unannounced to be sure, whether it will equip mentioned features and how much on earth this smartphone will cost, let’s wait for this October!
