Sony LT26ii Will be Released Next Week with Upgraded 1.7GHz Processor

Perhaps you will not feel strange with Sony Xperia SL LT26ii, Listed as LT26ii, it seemed to be just an upgrade to the Xperia S, which is LT26i. Now from the leaked news, we have some more confirmation what exactly the upgrade will be, and it seems that, besides the CPU overclock to 1.7GHz from 1.5GHz, we'll get a couple of new color schemes too. The Xperia S is available in black and white, but the Xperia SL will be coming in those nice blue and pink colors you see on the pictures. It is said that this Sony Xperia SL will be officially released next week (21, Aug).

1.7GHz dual-core processor

As we have reported before, Sony Xperia SL LT26ii does not bring too many feature upgrades internally and externally. Viewing from the exposed phone body, Sony Xperia SL LT26ii does not has significantly changes, only the new added silver version shows some differences in the overall style. On the hardware configuration, the phone basically continues its past designs, loading 4.3 inches 720p high-definition touch screen, shipping with the 1.3 megapixels front lens and 12 megapixels main lens. The most important change in the hardware configuration of Sony Xperia SL LT26ii is that its built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8260 processor clocked at 1.5GHz has upgraded to 1.7GHz. In other words, Sony Xperia SL LT26ii can be regarded as the copy of upgraded Sony Ericsson LT15i and LT18i, so there would not be too many changes in other features.
