Thinner, Lighter 5th-generation Apple iPad is Expected to launch in March, 2013

Rumor says that US technology giant Apple plans to launch a fifth generation table in March, 2013, just five months after the launch of the fourth-generation model, in keeping with its yearly spring releases of previous models.

According to an inside source of the tech blog Macotakara, the new iPad will look like the iPad Mini in design and the dimensions of a slightly smaller iPad 2. It would feature the Retina display with the same resolution as the third and fourth generation iPads, the Daily Mail reported.

According to 9to5mac, Macotakara also claims some next-generation iPad dimensions: “the expectation comes to have a small 4mm in height, 17mm in width, depth 2mm.” These numbers are obviously unrealistic expectations for the fifth-generation iPad’s actual size, but these numbers would make sense in the context of being millimeters smaller in all of the iPad’s physical dimensions than the current iPad.

Besides the fifth-generation iPad, Apple is supposed to be getting the second-generation of the Apple iPad mini ready. And freedman says Apple is gathering parts from companies like Texas Instruments for the new iPad Mini.

Apple seems to have cut its product cycle in half from 1 year to about 6 months. How will Apple fans respond to Cupertino pushing out a new model twice a year? In a way, it makes sense since Apple has to compete against a number of Android manufacturers who churn out new, updated products constantly.

This was one of the first flight simulators that were published for Windows Phone. With realistic flight models for 13 aircraft, multiple liveries, autopilot, HUD or virtual cockpits, and two detailed geographic areas (around San Francisco and Los Angeles), there’s a lot hear for Si-heads. Top 2: The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 American stop motion musical fantasy horror film directed by Henry Selick and produced/co-written by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a being from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town" and decides to celebrate the holiday. Who knew sleigh bells and ghoulish shrunken heads went so well together? In 1993, with full of twisted characters and stunning imagery, Tim Burton certainly didn't disappoint with this sweet tale of Halloween meets Christmas.

Top 4: Home Alone (1990)

The film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old boy, who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies to Paris for their Christmas vacation. While initially relishing time by himself, he is later greeted by two would-be burglars played by Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci. Using smarts, wit, and a few crafty traps, he manages to ward off the burglars and reunite with his family just in time for the holiday. The Realm of Augmented Reality - Google Glass is Coming

Are you looking for a type of technology that could be something replaces smartphones in the near future? Now you come to the right post. It is said that Google is currently developing a set of advanced and computerized glasses called Google Glass. Tech titans like Apple, Google, and Microsoft have spent years slugging it out for smartphone supremacy. But long after countless Androids, a smattering of Blackberries and Windows Phones, consumer-tech geeks can finally look forward to a fresh battleground for the world’s leading mobile hardware and software makers: the realm of augmented reality.

Google Glass would track the direction in which the wearer was looking with a tiny screen on the left lens that users will have to look up to see. It sports a different look from traditional glasses, covering only one eye instead of two.

Microsoft also envisages a system whereby eye-tracking is used to select areas of focus within the scene. Information shown could follow a preprogrammed script – Microsoft uses the example of an opera, where background detail about the various scenes and arias could be shown in order – or on an ad-hoc basis, according to contextual cues from the surrounding environment.

You can control the software by swiping a finger on that right earpiece in different directions. And Inside the right earpiece — that is, the horizontal support that goes over your ear — Google has packed memory, a processor, a camera, speaker and microphone, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and a battery. All inside the earpiece.

A product like Glass will give Google a big opportunity to take an outsized chunk of local mobile advertising growth. Google can directly deliver location based ads to a person visually, instead of having to rely on a person using their mobile phones.

Now, Google emphasized that Google Glass is still at a very, very early stage. Lots of factors still haven’t been finalized, including what Glass will do, what the interface will look like, how it will work, and so on. Google doesn’t want to get the public excited about some feature that may not materialize in the final version. And at the moment, Google is planning to offer the prototypes to developers 2013 in anticipation of selling Glass to the public.

Rumor Has It that Samsung Galaxy S4 Will Come in February 2013 Packing with Improved Features

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in May this year was undoubtedly a huge success with amazing sales volume. This 4.8-inch high-tech smartphone sporting Android 4.0.4 "Ice Cream Sandwich" and other powerful features has earned high repute among the public. However, now rumors say that Samsung will release its next-generation Galaxy S4 smartphone at some point during the first half of 2013 although the Samsung Galaxy S3 hasn’t been all that old.

The Android smartphone has quickly become a hugely popular handset with the Android faithful, Samsung, now the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, will no doubt look towards Sammy’s next big handset in their Galaxy line, the Samsung Galaxy S4. According to latest reports, the upcoming version of the flagship smartphone is likely to be launched in February next year, complete with Samsung’s Exynos 5450 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A15 processor and a 13MP camera.

This concept of the Galaxy S4 has the device sporting with a 5.1-inch full HD Super AMOLED Flexible 1080p display, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, android 4.2, 4G LTE connectivity, HSPA+, wireless charging, a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 4.5 megapixel HD front camera, 1.9GHz quad core processor, a 2650mAh battery and 9.1mm thick, so nothing too unpredictable. Samsung will most likely launch three Galaxy S4 models: a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB version, all with SD-support.

Recently this is the biggest rumor that has piqued the attention of millions of people all over the globe. Samsung is big enough to do its own launches now, joining the likes of Microsoft and Apple. For this reason we reckon Samsung will do a big glitzy launch sometime in February. And the Galaxy S4 will be bigger, slimmer, and lighter to suit us more.

iPhone 5S Specs, Release date, Rumors and Leaks Ramp Up

As you probably know that the iPhone 5 sold 2 million pre-orders on the first day of its release. And the first weekend the handset was available saw sales leap to 5 million, until now the gorgeous iPhone 5 catapults Apple back into first with highest ever share in the smartphone wars with Samsung galaxy S3.

So in order to maintain good momentum of smartphone development and grab market share to the highest degree, online rumors claim that Apple is about to begin making the successor to the iPhone 5, believed to be called the iPhone 5S. Apple has accelerated the certification processes for related parts and components for the iPhone 5S, the paper revealed.

The probable name of Apple' next generation phone
No one knows at the moment what the next Apple smartphone release will be called, it could be the iPhone 6 but we are guessing on previous releases that it will be called the iPhone 5S. It makes sense to call it this because the iPhone 4S was released after the 4.

The iPhone 5S specs rumored
Specifications and features of the expected iPhone 5S may not be that much different from the iPhone 5, although the recent departure of one-time iOS head Scott Forstall may suggest a vastly rethought and redesigned iOS 7. It is reported that it will bring a larger screen, improved 4G LTE connectivity, an even faster processor (probably a quad-core), enhanced battery life, a better camera sensor and other realistic expectations, though a new iPhone wouldn’t be a new iPhone without some kind of unique feature that would make users really want to own it. We’re looking for Apple to surprise us on this one with more amazing and useful functions.

iPhone 5S release date rumored
If this is true, Apple may be signaling that the iPhone 5S will debut in June 2013, which would be a return to normal of sorts for the company. This would put it around the same time as its annual developer conference – WWDC, where Apple used to announce new iPhone models.

LiquidMetal alloy for the back
We know that the iPhone 5 is producing unwanted scratches and worn corners unless you put on a case and then taking it off again. So how about Apple 5S using a LiquidMetal alloy for the back casing as this would be very strong indeed and could be molded into a shape that could bring us in to the world of futuristic instead of the normal block it already is.

It is said that the speculated iPhone 5S is expected to enter volume production in the first quarter of 2013, Apple is also likely to release a new version of iPad a quarter later than the iPhone 5S, since the display resolution of its latest version of iPad has come out lower than expected.

Apple Confirmed That Its New iMac Lineup Will Go on Sale from Nov. 30

According to the latest news from Apple that the brand-new 21.5-inch iMac (Base 21.5-inch model and High-end 21.5-inch model) will be on sale starting Friday via multiple distribution channels including Apple.com, Apple Stores, and Apple re-sellers. What’s more exciting is its 27-inch lineup iMac (Base 27-inch model and High-end 27-inch model) will also be available for pre-order that day, but will begin shipping in December due to the lack of display.

The delay has partially been caused by the need for display manufacturers to invest in new production processes in order to make the screens. The new lighter, thinner iMac uses some advanced welding techniques as well as a new manufacturing process for the LCD screen, which probably caused the delay.

The Cupertino, Calif., technology company said the device "is the most advanced desktop Apple has ever made." And we can not agree more. Seeing from Apple' official website, the new iMac is as much a work of art as it is state-of-the art. It is amazing to look at and even more amazing to use. Sporting a big, bold display, third-generation Intel quad-core processors, the latest NVIDIA graphics, cutting-edge storage options, and much more, no desktop has ever brought so much to the table. This is an all-in-one computer that has been refined, re-imagined, and re-engineered to give us a desktop in its most advanced form ever.

The 27-inch computer includes a 2,560-by-1,440 display, while the smaller machine boasts a 1,920-by-1,080 screen. Both have a FaceTime HD camera and dual microphones, with a headphone jack, SD card, three USB ports, Thunderbolt, and Gigbit Ethernet on the back. Both come with a wireless keyboard and wireless magic mouse.

It has a stunningly thin design that offers more in less space. Its edge is just 5mm thin and each unit has up to 40 percent less volume than the previous iMac. All in all, it is innovation at the mole culler level.

Google Inc.'s Nexus 10 vs Apple Inc.'s iPad 4 vs Barnes & Noble Inc.'s Nook HD+

We trust Apple so much because it is the world' tablet giants. But the market has changed in recent months, and Apple is starting to see some real competition. You can now find devices with easy-to-use interfaces, lightweight designs and compelling features you won't find on Apple's gadget. If you're searching for an iPad alternative, Google's Nexus 10 and Barnes & Noble Inc.'s Nook HD+ are all worth a look. Competing with Apple’s full-size iPad 4, other tablets are also impressive.

Following the success of the 7-inch Nexus 7—the first Google Nexus tablet—the Nexus 10 was released with a 10.1-inch, 2560×1600 pixel display, which in 2012 was the world's highest resolution tablet display. It’s packing a 10.1-inch screen with a whopping 2560×1600 resolution with 299 ppi, a dual-core 1.7GHz processor and 2GB of RAM Made by Samsung for Google, the Nexus 10's technical specifications match or betters those of Apple's device in many ways.

Price: $399 for 16 gigabytes of internal storage, $499 for 32 GB of storage
Screen size: 10.1 inches
Screen resolution: 2,560 by 1,600 pixels, at 300 pixels per inch
Weight: 1.33 pounds
Processor: 1.7 GHz dual-core Cortex-A15
Cameras: 5-megapixel camera on back and a low-resolution camera on front
Battery life: 9 hours for video playback, 7 hours for Web browsing.
Operating system: The Nexus 10 runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the latest version of Google's smartphone and tablet operating system, which is silky smooth to the touch and a pleasure to use.

Pros: it is cheaper than newest full-size iPad. The Nexus 10 is undeniably powerful. It’s insane. The Nexus 10 has an incredible screen, the perfect combination of spec and price with a great user experience thrown in. The dual-core 1.7GHz processor combined with the 2GB of RAM makes this device the most powerful Android tablet on the market. And it accesses to a variety of games, utilities and other software for Android devices, though not as extensive as apps available for iPad. But its longer, narrower screen better suited to movies.

Cons: the Nexus 10 is comfortable but not very aesthetic. It’s nothing more than a standard, black, boring, rubber rectangle. Integrates with Google Play store, which is still new and isn't as robust as Apple or Amazon's stores. Data storage cannot be expanded with memory cards. No option for cellular wireless broadband.

Apple launched its brand-new iPad 4 just seven months after it rolled out the Retina display-equipped third-generation iPad in March. There was much umbrage at the launch of the new iPad 4, as it basically rendered the iPad 3 obsolete. However, though externally it remains almost identical to the third-gen iPad—save its new Lightning connector, which replaces the 30-pin Dock connector—internally Apple has revved up its processor.

Design: iPad 4 has rectangular shape with rounded corners and edges and it is only marginally thicker and a little heavier than the iPad 2. And if you pick it up with no knowledge of the former, you'll likely be mighty impressed.
Screen size: 9.7 inches
Screen resolution: 2,048 by 1,536 pixels, at 264 pixels per inch.
Weight: 1.44 pounds
Cameras: 5-megapixel iSight camera on back and the bigger and more useful change is the front facing camera which is now a 1.2Mp FaceTime HD shooter capturing up to 720p footage. This offers a much higher quality picture than before making your Photo Booth pictures better.
Battery life: Once again Apple touts a double digit battery life of 10 hours for the iPad 4 when browsing the web over Wi-Fi.
Processor: First and foremost is a new processor, the A6X. This dual-core processor with quad-core graphics is supposedly twice as fast as the A5 chip found in the iPad 3 with twice the graphics performance.
Operating system: Apple's latest operating system, iOS 6, was recently launched alongside the iPhone 5.
Price: Starts at $499 for 16 gigabytes of storage, goes up to $699 for 64 gigabytes, more for versions with cellular data access.

Pros: The newest iPad's faster A6X processor adds extra system speed and graphics power. Improved worldwide cellular compatibility makes the LTE model a more appealing proposition. And the iOS App Store remains best in class, with the widest selection.

Cons: The fourth-gen iPad is otherwise identical to its recent predecessor - same size, weight, and Retina screen. It's heavy to hold in one hand, and older accessories won't work without investing in a pricey Lightning adapter. Data storage cannot be expanded with memory cards.

The just-released Nook HD+ is well-designed reading-and-entertainment Android tablets featuring beautiful, high-resolution screens, a significant rewrite of the Nook software and beefed-up video services.

Screen: 9 inch capacitive touchscreen display
Resolution: 1,920 x 1,280 pixels, at 256 pixels per inch
Weight: 1.14 pounds
Cameras: None.
Battery life: 10 hours of reading, 9 hours of video
Processor: dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. The dual-core processors clearly do their job, because I found the Nook HD's operation to be exceedingly smooth, with no delays or glitches when opening or reading books, opening or running apps, or watching on-tablet video.
Operating system: Modified version of Google's Android
Price: $269 for 16 gigabytes of storage; $299 for 32 GB

Pros: Cheap and portable. Storage is expandable with microSD memory cards. In addition to a full slate of books and magazines, it offers more than a thousand apps through its integrated (and growing) Nook Store and is optimized for Netflix and Hulu Plus video playback. The built-in Web browser works well and offers Flash support.

Cons: Selection of third-party applications is small. Barnes & Noble lacks wide range of content. No access to full Android Market; no Bluetooth, GPS, or camera; no video rental (or purchase) option.

With 2012 Thanksgiving Holiday coming soon, the happiness will be at hand. It is a time characterized with lot of fun and frolic, gifting, family feasting, community praying etc. Parades, fetes and fairs, eating at restaurants, shopping are an inherent part of the festive celebration.

The film's set piece is Thanksgiving, where Hannah's (Mia Farrow) clan gathers together in a tremendous Central Park West apartment for the holiday celebration. 7. Home For The Holidays (1995)

Home for the Holidays is a 1995 comedy-drama film directed by Jodie Foster and produced by Peggy Rajski and Jodie Foster. Jodie Foster's directorial debut gets it just right: dinner with the family can be a nightmare-and also hilarious. The Larson siblings — Claudia, Tommy, and Joanne return for a holiday dinner at their parents’ Baltimore home. There is a cloud of anxiety: the meal, at which are also seated a variety of friends and extended family, is the loud and raucous climax to a long day.

Del Griffith and Neal Page share a three-day odyssey of misadventures trying to get Neal home to Chicago from New York City in time for Thanksgiving dinner. When they see 17-year-old Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) shivering on the streets, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and husband Sean (Tim McGraw) offer him a place to spend the night.
