Get Ready for Google I/O: Samsung Made Nexus 11 Tablet Specs Leak

The annual Google I/O developer event is set to take place in less than a fortnight. We have seen leaked details of a new Google Nexus branded tablet which was probably going to be revealed during the three days'Google I/O conference. Last year the Nexus 7 tablet arrived and this year, it could be a larger Nexus 11 tablet if leaked specifications pan out. The leaked specs basically boil down to following aspects:

Processor:
The rumored tablet is expected to ship with Samsung’s eight-core Exynos 5410 chip which consists of four Cortex-A15 cores for demanding tasks and four Cortex-A7 cores to handle lighter loads and preserve battery life.

Display:
The 11-inch display is expected to be a Super PLS TFT screen and I’d expect it to be at least 1920 x 1080 resolution, if not the same 2560 x 1600 resolution used on the current Nexus 10.

Camera:
The rear of the tablet could get an eight megapixel camera, while the front has a two megapixel sensor for video conferencing.

Operating System:
The tablet would likely launch with Android 4.3 or Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, as Google's flagship device for the next-generation operating system.

MicroSD Card Support:
Another interesting inclusion said to be part of the upcoming Nexus 11 spec is the microSD card support. It will include a micro-SD card slot supporting up to 64GB of additional storage - a feature missing from the Nexus 10. This would be a very welcome addition for all future Google Nexus devices.

According to the news from a reliable source, a lower-end version of the slate could be in the works as well. Branded as a Samsung Galaxy Tab 11, this slate would no doubt carry the company’s TouchWiz overlay and more than likely a less powerful Exynos 5250 processor to keep costs down.

However, it is still awaiting Google approval for the Nexus branding. Whether Google will launch the device at its annual Google I/O event on the 15th of May, let us see!

The benchmark scores for the rumored handset show an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. The AnTuTu benchmark of 18,252 does seem a little low, but we should know that this result is most likely not from final hardware. I will keep you informed as soon as I hear more.

Once slated to arrive as early as May, the smartphone now look like they could be delayed a few months. With Google I/O fast approaching, we can only hope to learn more about the XT1055 there

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Specs, Launch and Release Date, Price Tag

Just a couple of weeks after Samsung company made its new Galaxy S4 a reality, rumors has turned around for Samsung Galaxy S4's little sibling - the Galaxy s4 Mini now. Just like Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini to Samsung Galaxy S3, which resembled the looks of its bigger brother but didn’t have even close to the same specs, Galaxy s4 is specially designed to be a mid-range smartphone that will compliment the larger, more expensive model. Lately, more and more rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini have started to pile up, let us see it one-by-one.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Specs:
A recent news report had suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will sport a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 256ppi, an 8-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, and 8/16/32GB of storage. It is expected to run Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung's own TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 UI layer on top. Rumors said that Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be made in both standard single and dual-SIM renditions with the two models featuring quad-core and dual-core processors respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Launch Date:
It is said that Samsung is to rather quietly launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, much like it did with the Galaxy S3 Mini, chosing a relatively random day to issue a press release for the device. Rumors have suggested that it could launch as soon as this week, but so far, we have seen nothing. We think that Samsung will likely wait for the larger Galaxy S4 to arrive before announcing anything new.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Release Date:
Currently, Samsung has not yet come out with a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date despite confirming the smartphone for arrival. The Mini will supposedly go on sale shortly after the full-sized Galaxy S4 does. It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date will not be held until the end of May or early June, a little over a month after the S4 lands.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Price Tag:
One of the nice things about the mini versions of these phones is that they come with cheaper price tag. While the Galaxy S4 will check in with standard on-contract pricing of $199.99 for the 16GB model and $249.99 for the 32GB model, any Galaxy S4 model coming to the United States would likely cost much less.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is a Galaxy S4 look-alike with a smaller screen and less hardware muscle. It is a cut-price smartphone for those who don't want to splash out on its latest flagship Galaxy S4, those in the market for a new mid-range Android smartphone could pay more attention to it!

Best 5 Easter Day Movies for Family

Time flies and now people have already begun to count down the upcoming traditional Easter Sunday. Yes, the highly-anticipated Easter Day holiday is approaching. It is the time that we celebrate the most important part of our Christian faith which is the "Resurrection of our Lord". Easter occurs on a different Sunday every year, but the message is always the same and the most important significance of Easter is in fact its religious spirit: honoring the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. It is a time for families to get together for Easter Sunday dinner and organize various games and activities especially for the festival. Some popular ones include Easter egg hunt, Easter egg decorating, egg rolls, arts and crafts, puzzles and so on. While celebrating Easter in its traditional way, people also prefer watching movies that relate to the holy festival of East.

In some way, sitting down and enjoying an Easter Movie would become the most popular and comfortable way to celebrate the new life and new beginning brought to us by Jesus’ resurrection. While there are not a lot of Christian Easter movies on the market, I have compiled a list of top 5 movies that have been favorites for many families on Easter weekend. If you can't decide which movie to watch on Easter, just browse my best pickings and make your choice!

(Tips: If you want to rip the Easter movies from DVD for playback on computer or some portable devices like iPad, PSP, Kindle Fire HD, Nexus 4, HTC One etc., a DVD ripper at just is the best solution. and with Total Media Converter Ultimate, burning the best Easter movies to DVD, converting videos among all popular formats, downloading YouTube and other online videos are all a breeze.)

Pieces of Easter (2013)

This is a new Easter holiday comedy from Kelly's Filmworks, starring Christina Karis and Jefferson Moore which is filled with whimsical Americana scenes that the whole family will love. It tells the story that an arrogant young executive is forced to rely on the assistance of a grizzled, reclusive farmer to get her home in time for the upcoming Easter holiday with her estranged family. An funny and independent holiday film to boost your special Easter this year.

The Passion of the Christ (2004)

Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ provokes an extreme and deep reaction to the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Gibson eschews the nice, complacent pieties and clean, bright visuals of many 1950s and 60s religious epics, yet retains the essential melodrama of the events. Ultimately, this is a deeply moving one to arouse your innermost heart!

The Gospel of John (2003)

Starring Henry Ian Cusick as Jesus and narrated by Christopher Plummer, the film was originally released in theaters in 2003. At times titled "The Visual Bible". It focuses on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, offering a very human, intimate picture of the passion and compassion of Christ's three years of ministry.I highly recommend seeing this movie during the Easter weekend.

8.) Jesus of Nazareth (1977)

This Jesus film is highly rated as one of the best films on the subject of Jesus. It gives a full dramatic interpretation of Jesus' life from birth, teachings, death/crucifixion to resurrection. Robert Powell plays the role of Jesus and there are other well-known actors as well.

4.) King of Kings (1961)

This is a very old Jesus-themed film, what makes this it unique is the relationship between Jesus and Barabbas, who has been featured only as a minor character in other epic films about Jesus. Another remarkable feature of King of Kings is the actual crowd scenes at the Sermon on the Mount. In addition, Jeffrey Hunter plays the role of Jesus.

Some of above movies focus on the cultural side of Easter while others will be religious epics. Whatever your choice is, these 5 best Easter movies of all time are highly entertaining. Please let us know by commenting below if you know of any other good, clean family-friendly Easter movies. Wishing you a very lovely Easter ahead!

Samsung Galaxy S4 Vs Apple iPhone 5S

Last Thursday, Samsung released the new Galaxy S4 in New York's Radio City Music Hall. And rumors prior to the release of the new Samsung Galaxy S4 suggesting that it would outperform the Apple iPhone devices and help the South Korean tech giant maintain its winning run in the worldwide smartphone industry. But will the new Samsung flagship smartphone have any major effect on its fierce rival - the upcoming iPhone 5S? Here we will take a look at the crucial specs contrast between the two impressive devices:

Measurements and weight:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 137x70x7.9 mm, 130g
Apple iPhone 5: Apple's iPhone 5 is one of the slimmest and most lightweight smartphones on the market. It features a design that is a mere 7.6mm thin and weighs only 112 grams. Rumors suggest that the iPhone 5S will keep the same design as the iPhone 5 which means that it could keep these measurements as well. It's undeniable the upcoming Apple iPhone5S is lighter and more small-hand friendly than the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Display:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 5-inch full HD super Amoled 1920x1080 display, 441 ppi
Apple iPhone 5S: Phone 5S will have a higher-resolution display than the iPhone 5, potentially based on the new IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) material. But whether iPhone 5S will compete with the new released Samsung Galaxy S4 is still a question.

Processor:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 1.6 GHz octa-core processor
Apple iPhone 5S: The iPhone 5 uses an A6 chip, while the iPad 4 has a more advanced A6x chip. Apple's iPhone 5S is may step up to use this more advanced chip architecture. And we think the eight-core processor in the Galaxy S4 could be overkill.

Battery:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 2,600 mAh
Apple iPhone 5: The iPhone 5 does not feature a removable back which likely means that iPhone 5S owners will be stuck with the battery. The Galaxy S4's battery seems significantly bigger than the upcoming iPhone 5S's.

Software:
Samsung Galaxy S4: Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
Apple iPhone 5S: While the iPhone 5 ushered in the era of iOS 6 with Apple Maps, Passbook and more, the iPhone 5S will more than likely arrive with the new iOS 7 on board. But I think picking which operating system is better is largely down to the individual user's personal preference as each of the two operating systems has its unique and innovative features.

Camera:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 13MP rear, 2MP front
Apple iPhone 5S: Camera in the upcoming iPhone 5S is rumoured to be capable of taking "Super HD" pictures. In order to take snaps at that resolution it'll need to have at least a 13 mega-pixel camera.

Storage:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 16/32/64GB user memory + microSD slot (up to 64GB)
Apple iPhone 5S: 16/32/64GB internal
Both devices are available with multiple storage options. If you really want to store a lot of media, Samsung is offering up its new HomeSync product, which offers users 1TB of storage via a streaming server.

Connectivity:
Samsung Galaxy S4: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSPA+/4G LTE Cat 3; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4
Apple iPhone 5S: GSM/EDGE/HSPA+/HSDPA/LTE 4G; 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, 802.11n on 2.4GHz and 5GHz; Bluetooth 4; GPS
The upload and download of either device will depend on the network carrier and location of the user.

Overall:
However, I think specs aren't always 100 percent accurate, which means it is impossible to know which is better till we've had more hands-on time with the iPhone 5S. Certainly the iPhone 5S is one of the S4's biggest potential competitor, its real enemy, which will appear in the second quarter of the year.

Expectation:
Samsung is understood to be anticipating sales of the new Galaxy S4 smartphone to be as high as 10 million handsets per month.

The Galaxy S III has a 4.8-inch screen, and the new Galaxy S4 will only be slightly bigger coming in at 4.99-inches – but offer a full 1920x1080p HD resolution.

4.2 Jelly Bean OS Confirmed?
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean complete with Google Now voice search, lockscreen widgets, expandable notifications, and much much more.

Is the Qualcomm/Exynos Processor Variants Confirmed?

Greater Camera?
It’s being reported that the 13 megapixel camera on the Galaxy S4 will be the best mobile camera available, and their wide-angle 2.2 front shooter will be great for video chat and self portraits.

No Eye Scroll Until Later Version?
Samsung also notably filed patents for eye-tracking technology, one under the name "Eye Scroll" in the U.K. in January and another under "Samsung Eye Scroll" in the U.S. in February; however, the new sources suggest that eye scroll likely won't be seen until future versions of the phone release.

Samsung Galaxy S4 World First Hands-on Video:

Enthusiasts need only sit tight until evening, when all the need-to-know information about the Galaxy S4 will be revealed and confirmed.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z vs. Google Nexus 10

Sony has recently released waterproof and quad-core equipped Xperia Tablet Z in U.S. and European markets. On considering its release, I bet most of you would throw Sony's Xperia Tablet Z into the Android fighting pit with the reigning champion: Google's Nexus 10. Want to know how the upcoming Sony Xperia Tablet Z stacks up against the top tablets on the market? Now you have come to the right place, below head-by-head spec comparison will give you much clue.

Compare From The Outside:
Display: The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1 inch LED-backlit LCD that runs at 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution (also known as full HD or 1080p) and features a 224 PPI. However, the Google Nexus 10 uses the same 10.1-inch but Super PLS display that runs at the whopping resolution of 2560 x 1600 and showcases a pixel density of 299. franking speaking, with oh-so-amazing giant and vivid display, no matter you download YouTube videos to Sony Xperia Tablet Z or put YouTube video to Nexus 10 for watching, both tablets bring you extraordinary and wonderful video feast.
Verdict: The Google Nexus 10 display outshines Sony Xperia Tablet Z.

Design: The 10-inch Google Nexus 10 tablet features very rounded corners and a body made out of rubbery plastic which makes the tab seems more like a toy. As for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, the most attractive one must be its dustproof and waterproof characteristic, and its aggressive, edge design and sleek build make the tablet the better looking of the two contenders.
Verdict: The Sony Xperia Z is more aggressive, dustproof and waterproof.

Size and Weight: The Sony Xperia Tablet Z measures 266 x 172 x 6.9 mm and weighs in at 495 g. And the Google Nexus 10 measures 263.9 x 177.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs 603 g. even though it is not the most compact tablet around, but we think most people will be okay with it.
Verdict: The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is noticeably slimmer and lighter than Google Nexus 10.

Compare From The Inside:
Os: When it comes to operating system, The Xperia Tablet Z is equipped with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and Nexus 10 carrys the lattest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. An update to Android 4.2 is apparently in the works for Sony's device, however, currently the Nexus 10 is at a slight advantage as Android 4.2 is a bit quicker and has some extra features and interface tweaks which are quite beneficial.
Verdict: The Nexus 10 wins this round thanks to the priority at which it will receive new Android versions in the future.

Processor: On processor, the Xperia Tablet Z tends to impress with its QuadCore 1.5GHz Krait processor as opposed to Nexus 10's DualCore 1.7GHz Cortex A15 processor. Both processors are more than enough for almost anything you can throw at it. For example, once you download YouTube videos to Sony Xperia Tablet Z by falling back on Sony Xperia Tablet Z YouTube Downloader, watch the downloaded videos and simultaneously launch other apps, no hiccups will occur at all.
Verdict: the Google Nexus 10 has been proven to be a little bit faster, especially at the GPU level.

Camera: In terms of Camera, the Nexus 10 comes with a 5MP primary camera at a resolution of 2592х1936 pixels and an LED Flash plus 1.9MP secondary camera, but Sony gears it up with an 8MP primary camera with a picture quality of 3264×2448 pixels and 2.2MP secondary camera. Both come with 1080p video recording.
Verdict: Sony misses out on the LED flash but covers up with the higher resolution.

Memory: Both the tabs have a RAM of 2GB, but the Xperia Z comes only in a 32GB model whereas the Nexus 10 comes in 16GB as well as 32GB.That should not be a major problem as the Xperia Z comes with a microSD card slot that supports upto 64GB which is sadly not present on the Nexus 10.
Verdict: Sony wins hands-down in this section.

Network: The Google Nexus 10 completely disappoints as it does not have a provision for a SIM card which sadly means no 3G/4G LTE, but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has definitely hit it out of the park with provision for a microSim, enabling the device to use 3G and 4G LTE to its advantage.
Verdict: Sony Xperia Tablet Z excels Google Nexus 10 in this respect.

Video For Reference:

I think the Sony Xperia Tablet Z knocks out the Google Nexus 10 in most aspects from inside and outside. But will Sony live up to the expectation or will it be another dud like the Sony Xperia Tablet S? I guess only time will tell!

Battle of Quad-Core Giants: HTC One vs. Samsung Galaxy S3

Launched Feb. 19 in London and New York, the HTC one successfully grabbed everyone’s attention as the world's most anticipated Android high-end smartphone. Sporting a 4.7-inch display with full-HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 1.7-gigahertz quad-core processor and a new "UltraPixel" camera that enables ultra-sharp photo shooting and video recording. Usually, the first question asked when a new phone is released usually has something to do with how it stacks against the competition. The hot-red Samsung Galaxy SIII, even has been around a while, it continues to be a great Android choice, thanks to its ultra-fast LTE data connection, fast performance, and over-sized screen. Now here is the question: will the forthcoming HTC One beat Samsung giant Galaxy S III? Alright, hope the below side by side specs comparison will give us some inspiration.

Dimensions:
HTC One measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm and it weighs 143 grams, on the other hand, the Galaxy S3 is 136.6 mm tall, 70.6 mm wide and has a profile of 8.6mm, weighing 10 grams less than the HTC flagship. The HTC One is a hair taller, a smidge narrower, and a bit thicker than the Galaxy S III.

Display:
Even both feature a glass screen. The Samsung Galaxy S3's 4.8in 1,280 x 720 resolution (720p) panel, while sharp and a tenth of an inch larger, is no match for the HTC One's ultra-dense 4.7in 1,920 x 1,080 pixel (1080p) display.
When you play YouTube movies on HTC one and Galaxy S3, HTC One could deliver crisper and sharper image thanks to its relatively small size and high resolution screen.

Design:
In terms of design, the HTC One is a solid piece of aluminium, with beautifully machined edges and details. The Galaxy S3, by contrast, is made entirely of plastic, with rounded, tapered edges and chrome buttons.

Processor:
Underneath the hood, the Galaxy S3 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. The HTC One has it beat, though, thanks to its quad-core, next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU.

Video Entertainment:
According to the official specs, HTC One supports 3GP, 3G2, MP4, WMV, AVI formats well, while Galaxy S3 recognizes videos on MPEG4, H.264. H.263, DivX formats. However both phones do not have DVD-drive installed, So, if you want to watch hi-def movies to Galaxy S3 or HTC One, you need to resort to a Video Converter, which could convert all kinds of videos to Galaxy S3 or HTC One recognized format video, so that you can play any movie on these two smartphones without any trouble.

Operating System:
While both devices run using Google's latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, their user interfaces (UIs) and features are noticeably different. This is mainly because both Samsung and HTC have loaded the devices with their custom Touchwiz and Sense software, respectively.

Storage:
The HTC One has in-built storage options of 32 and 64 GB. Both these variants have considerably large amount of storage space but none of them have a micro SD card support. The Samsung Galaxy S3 provides in-built storage options of 16, 32 and 64 GB and also provide a micro SD card slot which supports cards of up to 64 GB.

Camera:
HTC One packed a 4 ultrapixels rear camera that promises clearer and more vivid pictures compared to Samsung Galaxy S3's 8 megapixels shooter.

Battery:
HTC One has a 2300 mAh embedded rechargeable Li-polymer battery compared to Galaxy S3's 2100 mAh battery.

Video for your reference:

Do the above head-to-head specs contrast make you clear to find out the winner between HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S3? Either way I think most consumers would be pleased with either of these android devices, as all they are the masterpieces in high-end smartphone level.
